This site is pretty amazing. Originally, there was just a wooden sign with an Indian on it for the hotel guests. Here is some info on that hotel. This statue replaced that sign. The purpose of this statue is to honor the Lenni-Lenape Indians. Some believe that Lenni-Lenape Indians held their council meetings on this rock. It is a highly debated conversation. This is definitely worth adding to hiking list.
