This area is mostly known for Kitchen's Mill. Along the path on the other side of Kitchen's Bridge, you will find this monument dedicated to the Church of Brethren. I can imagine that different churches held services near the creek back in the day. The famous baptism was held here on Christmas Day in 1723 by the Church of the Brethren in America.
