Andorra Meadows

This destination is my top pick by far! I've been to almost every section of the park. The Friends of the Wissahickon and volunteers do an amazing job. The regular side trails can have a real rough terrain. Your climbing over rocks and you have to watch your steps. The Andorra Meadows will give you a quick break from that atmosphere. You reach the Andorra Meadows and you almost feel like your in another world. The trails are very well maintained with high grasses on each side of you . There are random bird feeders on both sides of you. The pictures don't do it justice. You have to experience it for yourself. All the trails get very icy in the winter. If your going running, buy yourself a pair of ice cleats. They can go right over your boots or running shoes.
